The objective ofthis campaign is to teach kids about phones and their usage throughout the years, not just smartphones. For decades, people have invested in phones, so what a shame that kids don't know how they look.

Telephong was inspired by the word 'telephone'. The mascot's name is Phong. Combining 'telephone' and 'phong', this is how the campaign got its name.
